How often should panels be cleaned out here?
Twice a year suits most High Desert homes — once after the spring wind season and once in early fall. If you're on a dirt road, near an active field or under trees, three or four times a year keeps output steady.
Will cleaning scratch my panels or void the warranty?
No. We use soft-bristle brushes and deionized water at low pressure — no abrasives, no detergents, no pressure washer on the glass. That is the method most panel manufacturers specify in their own maintenance guidance.
Why deionized water instead of soap?
Deionized water has had its minerals stripped out, so it dries without leaving spots and needs no soap to lift dust. Soap residue is the bigger problem out here — it stays tacky on hot glass and grabs the next round of dust.
What does it cost?
Solar cleaning is priced by panel count and roof access; windows by pane count and number of stories. Estimates are free and the quote you get is the price you pay — call or send the form and we’ll get you a number the same day.
Do you handle commercial arrays?
Yes — rooftops, carports, pole mounts and ground arrays for businesses, HOAs and property managers across the High Desert. We can work around your hours and provide a certificate of insurance for your file.
Do I need to be home?
Not for exterior work. We just need access to the spigot and the gate. Interior window cleaning does need someone there to let us in.
